French interior designer Dorothée Meilichzon has converted the Henri restaurant located in the Henriette Hotel. The inspiration stems from the look of Parisian bistros and this project is done for chef Jackson Boxer. Found on the ground floor of the hotel, Henri serves a menu of classic French dishes that have a British flair. Boxer's cooking also influences the interior design.
The designer explained to Dezeen, "We have designed an interior that mixes the relaxed style of a traditional British pub with the elegance of a typical French brasserie." Meilichizon continues, "We have used some art nouveau elements typical in a brasserie: the detail on the arms of the banquettes, frosted glass globes, Thonet chairs and bespoke organic suspensions."
