The Gearward HemiSere Lapel Knife is an incredibly compact tool meant to be hidden almost anywhere on the body. Designed as modern day version of the clandestine blade issued by the OSS in WW2, this compact knife was originally built to hide under the lapel of a collared shirt and could easily serve as both a backup and primary tool knife. However, the original lapel knives lacked a secure grip, were made of a heavy and thick steel and required a custom sheath sewn into the collar. These were the issues Gearward attempted to address in its HemiSere Lapel Knife.
Constructed from titanium and ceramic composite, the entire knife manages to be incredibly durable but also surprisingly light. The blade itself features a Wharncliffe style and offers up a 1.875" cutting edge. A cut out on the grip adds an impressive offering for a secure handling, while the use of 3M adhesive dots allow the knife to be attached to a variety of surfaces, including the underside of a collar.
