Nike released the Hello Kitty Air Presto sneakers with both Hiroshi Fujiwara and Steven Smith. This collaborative project delivers the work of a streetwear icon and Japan's most iconic character onto one of the sportswear label's most recognizable silhouettes. The Air Prestos made their debut back in 2000 and were designed to feel as if one was running barefoot with its lightweight sensibilities.
The partnership comprises of four sneakers in total -- there is a pink and white version designed by Fujiwara, a black and blue iteration by Smith and two more upcoming pairs. The Hello Kitty Air Presto sneakers play a role in celebrating the character's 30th anniversary back in 2004 initially but became only limited to friends and family at the time with just 12 pairs available.
