In partnership with Helipass, U.S based car-hailing company Uber will be offering a helicopter service titled Hail.
For 160 Euros, the Hail helicopter service will be offering a fifteen minute flight between the Nice-Cote d'Azur airport and the Cannes airport. Exclusively offered in France, this short flight is targeted at individuals attending the upcoming Cannes Film Festival. The Hail helicopter is to shuttle its riders to and from Cannes in no more than seven minutes. The new business venture is the first flight innovation for the car-hailing company as well as the first service of-its-kind in France.
The Cannes Film Festival takes place on May 13th and runs all the way to the 24th. The Hail option will be appearing in the Uber app on the first day of the film festival.
