The Heineken Green Grip is the latest version of the brand's sustainable packaging solution that offers a plastic-free profile for consumers to appreciate.
The packaging is crafted with 100% recyclable cardboard and is designed for use on multipacks of cans to eliminate conventional plastic rings. The double-layered cardboard packaging is being rolled out now in the UK across a number of brands including Heineken itself along with Strongbow, Birra Moretti and John Smith's through the rest of 2022. The packaging update comes as part of the Brew a Better World sustainability strategy.
Head of Sustainability at Heineken UK Chelsey Wroe commented on the new Heineken Green Grip saying, "We’re excited to introduce this new version of the Green Grip which meets our shoppers’ needs for robust and sustainable, packaging."
