Marblue has created 'Headfoams,' a practically indestructible set of headphones made out of -- you guessed it -- foam. Although I definitely don't fall into its target demographic (ages three to twelve), I'm already a fan of Headfoams. If there's anything I like more than durability, it's a clever pun.
The headphones are constructed out of a safe, non-toxic and BPA-free foam, providing comfort and safety for children and peace of mind for their parents.
More importantly, the foam material doesn't interfere with the audio; the sound quality remains crisp and clear.
To protect the delicate ears of younger humans, the sound levels never exceed 85 decibels. This shouldn't be a problem, as I doubt the Headfoam target market has reached the angsty phase of adolescence that requires heavy metal or garage rock to be played at full blast.
