Dorothy definitely did not wear these wicked, drop dead gorgeous shoes on her way to Kansas. In December, we brought you shoes from ‘The Kansas Project’ in Asia. Here is the original New York Fashion Week exhibition at Bryant Park that inspired ‘The Kansas Project.’
This collection of elegant footwear is the creation of heavyweight designers such as Tuleh, Betsy Johnson, L.A.M.B, Botkier, Diane von Furstenburg, Tibi, Testoni, Jimmy Choo, and Oscar de la Renta with the same design in red and black.
The majority of the shoes in the gallery are ruby red with sparkling holographic sequins that were especially designed to pay homage to the upcoming 70th anniversary of the iconic film "The Wizard of Oz."
The collection will tour the country before the shoes are auctioned off to benefit the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation.
