The Harley-Davidson FLSTC 103 Heritage Softail Classic is a pretty coveted motorbike on its own, but this particular specimen that went up for auction in Paris is especially valued as it has been blessed by two Popes and signed by one.
The bike was originally intended to be presented to Pope Benedict XVI at Harley-Davidson's 110th birthday celebrations; however, the Pope's abdication meant the bike was eventually presented to the newly inaugurated Pope, Pope Francis.
Bonham's, which is selling the bike, estimates its value as between $18,000 and $31,000; however this is probably an underestimation, with the Harley-Davidson FLSTC 103 in question expected to sell for significantly more.
Proceeds from the bike's sale will be donated to a Polish non-profit organization.
