Sustainable Hardwood Furniture

The Staple Collection' is Made Using Eco Harvesting Practices

In keeping with market pressures for locally produced, high-quality goods, Melbourne-based designers Luc Fauvrelle of 'Lucious Handmade' and James Taylor of 'Hamilton Taylor Made' have created a line of responsibly harvested hardwood furniture.

This collaborative effort was created in the workshop the duo has shared since 2015. Born from conversations on design and sustainability, 'The Staple Collection' is a collection of minimal, steel rod based designs. Each piece of hardwood furniture is highly functional but also minimal, so styling the pieces with your own objects is effortless.

In recent years, more consumers are in the process of rejecting fast consumption patterns in exchange for a more socially minded approach. Products like these accentuate craftsmanship, are locally sourced and are created with sustainable practices in mind -- ultimately meeting the needs of a socially conscious demographic.
