Rouge Woven Sneakers

The New Filling Pieces Sneaker Features a Tricolor Hand-Woven Design

Amsterdam-based shoe company Filling Pieces released a 2016 Spring/Summer low top model that makes use of a hand-woven design and a complementary rouge color palette.

The sneakers are dubbed the 'Low Top Tricolore' and were made in collaboration with La Ferramenta, an Italian concept store. Given the joint effort, the sneakers take on a Mediterranean influence that's inspired by La Ferramenta's location. The uppers of the shoes are built from quality Italian suede that makes use of a hand-woven design that allows the colors to intermingle in a geometric pattern.

The palette alternates between gray, peach and red, with the latter being the most prominently used. The laces are red as well, however are accented by the gold loops that hold them in place. The soles of the shoes offset the rest of the colorway with a simplistic white rubber.
