Portland, Oregon-based workwear and tool company Hand-Eye Supply asked artists to create their own versions of common warning signs, with hilarious results.
Hand-Eye Supply asked ten Portland artists to reinterpret those pesky caution signs that are inevitably on the walls of every workshop and studio. The resulting line of posters, called 'Collective Caution,' is vaguely twisted and very funny. In one poster, the traditional warning to tie hair back is illustrated with an image of what could happen if the advice isn't followed: a man's long, flowing beard gets trapped in a drill bit -- and the ensuing catastrophe leaves him completely faceless.
The posters are available in limited edition print from the Hand-Eye Supply website, with 50% of proceeds going to support the Portland YouthBuilders charity.
