Looking like something out of a Christopher Nolan Batman flick, the Hammacher Schlemmer 'Motorized Wheelrider' is a vigilante's dream ride. This two-wheeler will surely have (wannabe) crime fighters tapping into their inner Dark Knight.
The Hammacher Schlemmer Motorized Wheelrider emulates a ride used by the Caped Crusader, just without the mounted machine guns. Powered by a 2 horsepower, two-stroke engine, this ride handles more like a skateboard than a motorbike. To maneuver this nimble bike, riders place their feet onto two slip-resistant foot boards mounted to each side of the hubless rims. Riders control turns and direction with their front foot by using side-to-side motions, while the rear foot stabilizes the back wheels, creating a feel similar to a snowboard or longboard. Speed is controlled by a tethered throttle, allowing for easy acceleration and stopping.
Fake super heroes rejoice, you can stop borrowing your mother's Prius and finally fight crime in style.
