Foscarini Forms the HABITUS Art Project with a Team

The HABITUS project is an experimental approach to art curated by Foscarini with artist and designer Andrea Anastasio and Amal's Arun Jothi and Natalie Frost. The team works with creative liberty from the angle of art and design and HIABUS dives deep into research and other possibilities. Embroidery is often explored as it is fluent to Amal and also a venerated ancient art that is integrated into modern practices as well. The project is comprised of 11 pieces of lamps.

Carlo Urbinati, president of Foscarini notes, "For a company, it is a true privilege to be able to take the time to reflect, to weave connections, and attempt creative incursions into other worlds. It is also a natural choice; for us: getting out of our comfort zone is a part of who we are. Habitus is therefore a gift we make to ourselves but also a necessity, the outcome of our need to listen and to share visions with people who belong to other worlds, to create new imaginaries of light, and to explore different meanings to assign to what we do."
