Timothy Widmer is a student at the Lucerne School of Art and Design and he created the Gustav seating series which is a modular set made up of four pieces with modular elements.
It can be reconfigured in a plethora of ways as the odd shapes are different from any sort of traditional furniture -- it does not appear to function as a chair, a sofa, stool, or a pouf but it works well once it is put together. The Gustacv set is agnostic when it comes to its position as it allows users to alter the shape however they please. They can sit down on the seat as a stool or recline comfortably backward, stretch their legs out, and more.
