Handles tend to be the only sorts of protrusions that you will generally find on drinking vessels, yet here we have the GumCACTUS Mug with a skin of spikes instead of a conventional handgrip. Inspired by the familiar quilled plant of the desert, this cup is possibly even easier to hold onto than those with looped protuberances.
Sabrina Fossi designed these plastic tumblers in two parts, with one that's a smooth and fuchsia-colored inner portion that maintains its shape firmly. The other is a flexible silicone in bright green that's formless. It has been made to be used as a sleeve over the pink tumbler and provides the drinker with an uneven surface of soft spurs that make the GumCACTUS Mug much easier to grasp.
