Guim Tio Zarraluki Art Directs a Frightening Photo Project

Turning models into lifeless rag dolls is a fun theme to pursue when it comes to photography, but illustrator Guim Tio Zarraluki takes it to a whole new creepy level. Art directing the photo project, he put together a couple of scenes worthy of being used in a horror movie.

First of all, the model Maria Diamanetes has had her face painted in a very disturbing way. Despite the caky yellow base and rouged nose and cheeks, it is her eyes that are most frightening. What at first looks like buttons are actually painted pupils on her eyelids. Guim Tio Zarraluki does know how to catch people off guard.
