The Aquapro Groasis Waterboxx captures water from the air from condensation and rain. The water is collected in a camber beneath a cover so it doesn’t evaporate easily. The Dutch inventor describes the Groasis Waterboxx as a ‘water battery’ because of its water storage abilities. The unique design doesn’t require power and makes growing trees in arid regions possible.
The Mohammed I University of Oujda in Morocco tested the Groasis Waterboxx in the Sahara over the course of three years. The device produced convincing results.
