The Gro watering can is made for the super contemporary individual with a green thumb. A modern take on the traditional gardening tool, it is made up of basic cylindrical shapes that range in size to easily denote the purpose of each section. The largest cylinder holds the water, the mid-sized one acts as the handle, which is also where the can is filled, while the long, thin cylinder is the spout.
Conceived by Hallgeir Homstvedt, an industrial designer based in Oslo, Norway, the Gro watering can was created for Britain-based design and manufacturing company Established & Sons. Presented in Milan, it was designed in collaboration with Anderssen&Voll and Petter Skogstad. It was inspired by Established & Sons' actual need for an office watering can.
