Sleek Cold-Resistant Timepieces

Polar's Grit X Pro Watch is Built to Withstand Freezing Conditions

Finnish specialty watchmaker Polar has unveiled its newest timepiece, the Grit X Pro -- a one-of-kind wristwatch designed to withstand temperatures between -20°C and +50°C.

Aesthetically, the watch's design is said to be inspired by cold winters, frozen landscapes, and expansive mountain ranges. The brand describes the piece as "a product of our environment," referencing Finland's harsh, dark winters. In keeping with this theme, the Grit X Pro comes equipped with polar expedition-ready navigation tools such as turn-by-turn guidance, elevation profiling, and trackback features.

Other features of the watch include scratch-resistant sapphire glass, a seven-day power reserve, 40 hours of training with HR & GPS, and Polar's Precision OHR Technology. The Grit X Polar is currently available in three colorways: 'Arctic Gold,' 'Nordic Copper,' and 'Black PLC.'
