Limited-Edition Orange Diving Watches

Unimatic Partners Grimoldi Milano to Release Exclusive U1-GM

Unimatic, a new Milan-based watchmaker specializing in minimalist sports pieces, has teamed up with Italian retailer Grimoldi Milano to launch the 'U1-GM' diver watch. Based on the brand's popular 'Modello Uno,' this limited edition timepiece comes in a bright orange makeover.

Features of 'U1-GM' include an orange dial and matching rubber strap, a 40mm stainless steel case with a 120-click mono-directional bezel, a 2.5mm double domed sapphire crystal, and water resistance up to 300m/1000ft. Powering the timepiece is a Seiko 'NH35A' automatic processor that boasts an impressive 41-hour power reserve.

The watch does include some co-branding elements, with the Grimoldi Milano logo imprinted on the case back. According to Unimatic, the watch design intends to capture the essence of 1970s professional diving while paying tribute to the legendary Grimoldi store in Portofino.
