New York City recently celebrated Earth Day by hosting an exhibition called 'Green Festival Expo,' which was dedicated to sustainable living. With more consumers interested in adopting an eco-friendly lifestyle, the event served as a comprehensive introduction to living green.
The Green Festival Expo ran from April 15th to 17th, just ahead of Earth Day 2016. The event not only showcased green products from the worlds of food, fashion and wellness, but it also explored eco-friendly transport and renewable energy. Highlights from the festival included test rides for Stromer’s new e-bikes, yoga classes at the Sonic Yoga Pavilion and a pet center where attendees were able to adopt homeless cats and dogs right on-site.
Designed to serve as a "crash course on how to go green in an urban environment," the event provided New Yorkers with an informative and interactive way to celebrate Earth Day.
