‘Angry Cat,’ Columbia’s newest ‘Great Moments in Trying Stuff’ video, tests out the ‘Omni-Dry with Omni-Wick Evap’ Jacket on one of the most water-hating animals out there.
This hilarious product-testing ad puts the jacket’s water-repelling technology to the limit to see if even an aqua-sensitive black cat can remain dry while wearing it.
The theory that cats hate water is first tested in the video, and then, once proven, the furry feline is dressed in the waterproof jacket and put under a series of water-spray nozzles. Much to the kitty’s pleasure, the jacket holds true to its water-repelling promise and the animal is kept warm and dry.
The sportswear line has a few other videos in the series that each feature interesting (and somewhat ridiculous) tests designed to promote the countless applications for their products.
Columbia Sportswear’s ‘Angry Cat’ video is one of the funniest in the ‘Great Moments in Trying Stuff’ series, and may even may prompt some serious cat fanatics to get a matching set for both themselves and their pet.
