Luxury Spanish fashion house Loewe presents a look at its new collection designed for the Spring/Summer 2023 season highlighting the highly anticipated grass sneakers. The show unveiled its menswear range and the shoes grow real grass out of the upper.
Some details include hand-embroidered tonal strands along the canvas upper and under the grassy overlay, there is a traditional lace system, and rests on top of a unique rubber sole unit. This extends to wrap around the toe box and along the back of the heel. Branding can be seen on the insole and the tongue section over the forefoot. Notably, these shoes are made in collaboration with horticulturist Paula Ulagui Escalona and grass can also be seen on some of the apparel as well.
