Designers Sanna Lindstrom and Sigrid Stromgren joined their considerable talents to create the Grand Central table. The design of the table is based on the way a tourist map folds out. The Grand Central table can be folded up and stored away, but when it’s needed it expands into action.
Lindstrom and Stromgren are both from Sweden. Their Grand Central table is functional and neat, which is probably why it was selected for the [D3] Talents Contest at IMM Cologne in February.
