Comfy Angular Couches

The Grafton Series Has Soft Slants That Cradle the Sitter

There are areas in the Grafton Series where the pieces certainly have straight edges and points; however, none of these would make for an uncomfortable experience of curling up in the seats.

The armchair and the sofa almost seem to have begun as a soft cube and a rectangular prism before four slanted slices cut out cozy spaces for sitting. From the backrests and armrests, the objects have sharp ridges that are cushioned by internal padding and covered in Kvadrat's Halingdal textile.

Color, a bit of ribbed texture to the fabric, plus some gentle curves to the Grafton Series' contours gives Jacob Nitz's creations some contemporary aesthetic intrigue on top of their otherwise minimalist forms.
