The Graded School Library is Integrated Inside a School

Brazilian architecture studio MAB3 and Zénite Arquitetura & Construção join forces to install a library dubbed the Graded School Library in a school. It is located in São Paulo and was integrated into a building that was first built in 1961, marking the latest addition since 2012's update by Siegbert Zenettini. The space is defined by curved structures which form the natural wooden bookshelves. These are separated by large columns that are inspired by trees with 'paper leaves.'

The library was designed with "comfortable, playful and ergonomically designed spaces to house the vast physical collection of book." Within 45 days, Zénite Arquitetura & Construção built the project. Giselle Benefetti, founder of Zénite explains, "Our work focuses on the well-being of teachers, parents and students. With a solid organisational culture, technical competence and responsible and consistent financial management, we want to inspire and promote enchanting experiences, give new meaning to spaces and make dreams come true."
