Google's Connected Home at SXSW Entertained Visitors

Seeing a product in action is more effective than seeing it on shelves, so Google created a connected home at SXSW, to demonstrate the various capabilities of its smart home devices.

The main intention behind this activation was to spotlight the everyday uses of Google's smart assistant. Some of the products in the house are not yet available, but demonstrated what the future of the brand could look like. This included the voice-activated 'Bounce Car' and the voice-controlled dancing flamingos found in the garden.

The house came equipped with a map that labeled all the categorized components of the home, including technology that aided in bedtime, shower time, relaxation time, cooking time and more.
