The thermostat starts off with an aesthetically pleasing profile that makes it look like a work of art on the wall thanks to its glass-like form. The thermostat will harness the power of Google's generative AI model Gemini to deliver a conversational user experience, while also offering four display faces to choose from. Measuring in at 3.9-inches in diameter, the thermostat has a borderless 2.7-inch LCD screen that's 60% larger than the previous model and comes in three color options inlacing polished Obsidian, Polished Silver and Polished Gold.
The new Google Nest Learning Thermostat is priced at $280 and comes with a Temperature Sensor in the box that can be placed elsewhere in the home for better contextual awareness of temperature conditions.
