With the new Google Calander integration, users also have the ability to manage their Android Auto settings while they drive.
Google released a statement about the new features, "To mitigate driver distraction, we collaborated with government, industry and academic institutions to develop our own best practice guidelines that we apply to every aspect of our product development process."
