Singaporean design company GoodLiving introduces a look at its new laundry rack which is mounted to the ceiling and retracts when it is not in use. Additionally, it also works as a lamp and the overarching purpose is that it optimizes space backed by the modular features and foldable sections.
By installing the racks to the ceiling, it deploy the scissor mechanisms by using a remote control -- the rack hides seamlessly. When it is retracted, the base of the rack works as LED lighting for the room that it is in. To further make this functional, the rack has fans and heaters that blow hot air to dry the clothing faster. The rack is integrated with ionizers to keep the fabric soft and free of odor.
