Spatial Panning Plug-Ins

The Goodhertz Panpot Plug-In is an Inventive Panning Tool for Audio

The Panpot, standing for "Panoramic Potentiometer," is a virtual panning tool created by Goodhertz Inc., which transcends other stereo manipulation plug-ins by combining four different panning modes all within one newly fashioned interface.

While a traditional panning utility device only controls level differences, Panpot controls the time differences, spectral cues, and distance effects to provide an extensive two-dimensional approach to adjust the stereo image of audio. Built into a simple user interface, the controls are distinctly positioned over top of a background, which can be toggled between light and dark modes.

The four types of panning modes that can be manipulated using Panpot include: Level Panning, Delay Panning, Spectral Panning, and Phase Panning. Spanning from the left, each of the four panning modes can be adjusted using level sliders, along with corresponding on/off, mode, flip, and multiplier controls. On the right side of the plug-in, more controls are available to adjust the pre-panning and general pan options.

Panpot is available as a digital download through the Goodhertz company website.
