The Good Night Lamp helps to connect people in long distant relationships, whether it is a father on a business trip or lovers living in different cities. A network of lights, each lamp is part of a family that can be distributed as desired among friends, families and other loved ones. When one Good Night Lamp is lit up, its pair lights up as a poignant reminder of their presence.
Designed by Alexandra Deschamps-Sonsino, the Good Night Lamp was recently unveiled at the 2013 Consumer Electronic Show. Made up of a big lamp and little lamps, which are available in different colors, the system can be used be entire families. Whether the Good Night Lamp signals a return to home, readiness to talk or, if turned off, someone's bedtime, it is helpful and comforting.
