Massive Spherical Event Spaces

A Giant 'Golf Ball' Concert Hall Will Be Constructed in East London

American sports and entertainment firm Madison Square Garden Company (MSGC) released plans for a new structure, 'The Golf Ball Concert Hall,' set to be built near the Olympic park in east London. MSGC has teamed up with a London-based architecture firm Populous to create company's first venue built outside of the United States.

This new 20,000-capacity building will stand 130 metres tall and is shaped like a giant golf ball. The plans for this new structure show that it will be the city's largest indoor venue with seating arranged in a 360-degree bowl and underground pathways for pedestrians to easily move about the structure. With no time frame available yet, this new Golf Ball Concert Hall is still in the early stages of planning.
