The GoCycle GXi Incorporates a Three-Speed Predictive Drivetrain

The GoCycle GXi is a foldable electric bike that features an electronic three-speed shifting system. The predictive shifting feature automatically changes gear depending on the rider's speed, as long as they stop pedalling for a brief moment. The rider can also manually shift gears via an override controlled by the right-hand twist switch. The GoCycle companion application on mobile devices can be used to activate or deactivate the feature. Alternatively, holding both twist switches for 15 seconds will enable mode-switching and can activate predictive shifting.

The GoCycle GXi has a 500-watt front hub motor that outputs a top speed of 20 mph, which is limited to adhere to countries regulations. The bike features a 375 Wh removable battery that results in a range of roughly 50 miles, based on the riding conditions and selected ride mode. Currently, the bike is available for purchase at an MSRP of $4,799 USD.
