This stunning editorial shoot from Numéro 94 has Anja Rubik, one of Poland’s 'models of the moment,' covered in gold, literally. The fashions vary from a Galliano knit dress and a Versace nearly-backless gown to a Hermes metallic trench coat and Missoni mini shorts. Rubik’s hair has been slicked back and sprayed, and even her striking body has been given an overall dusting of golden powder.
Gold is definitely a warmer color than silver, and the shade looks good against every skin tone, where the cooler silver can be a little harsh. So, allowing for the fact that you likely don’t look like Rubik and are not going to go to these lengths with the bronzing powder, maybe you should find a bit of space in your closet for a few dazzling pieces of the shimmery metal fashions.
The shoot was done by talented photographer Miguel Reveriego.
