Lush Celebrates $50m Raised Via Its Charity Pot Program

In honor of Giving Tuesday, a global day of giving and unity that takes place on December 1st, Lush Cosmetics is celebrating the $50 million raised through its Charity Pot Program. The program began through Lush's iconic Charity Pot Body Lotion–made from a hydrating cocoa butter base, leaving skin perfumed and soft. 100% of the price from the lotion is donated to small grassroots organizations and since 2007, purchases of Charity Pot have provided over $50 million directly to small grassroots groups, supporting 1,850 projects in North America and 950 around the globe.

In addition to the beloved Charity Pot Body Lotion, Lush is also unveiling the Charity Pot Naked Body Lotion Coins, priced at $2 0.3 for oz. The reformated lotion is now available in a package-free format with 100% of the purchase price goes to grassroots organizations upholding human rights, environmental justice, and the protection of animals.

Lush also debuted the new organic cotton Knot Wrap Face Coverings for $8.95. The coverings are created by re-wrap, a woman-run organization in India, and is in three colorways– Festive, Snow Fairy, and Sleepy. Each purchase supports re-wrap's longevity and strengthens a community of hardworking women.
