The Givenchy Resort 2013 Collection Presents Nomadic Genius

The Givenchy Resort 2013 collection is a breathe of fresh air for the label and an ode to Esmeralda.

The unveiling of the looks marked a triumph for designer Riccardo Tisci. The looks are calculated and polished to perfection. Tisci got inspiration for the collection from a vintage photograph of Hubert de Givenchy's muse by the name of Bettina. Thus, the gypsy-themed collection was born. The attire consists of an overload of geometric patterns, paisley prints, chunky belts, cut-out slits on almost every piece and cape-like sleeves. Tisci elevates style and makes gypsy chic look effortless. Extravagant pieces included wildly long maxi dresses with pattern and plain treatments accompanied by flattering chunky belts.

Riccardo Tisci takes a theme and runs with it and the Givenchy Resort 2013 collection is exemplary.
