Children may be reluctant to leave their parents when taken to a daycare facility, but those who set their eyes on the Giraffe Childcare Center will be more reluctant to leave it. It looks as though a fossilized giraffe was uncovered at the construction site and instead of moving it to some sort of museum, the architect decided to build around it. Upon closer inspection, the lifelike statue is clearly a manmade construct.
Designed by Hondelatte Laporte Architects, the Giraffe Childcare Center is located in Boulogne-Billancourt, France. Expressing the imaginative world of childhood, the building will have both children and adults looking on in awe. Not to mention that it beautifully combines urban and natural elements.
