Gilded Paper Jewelry

Papier-Mache Accessories Fit for ‘Body Furniture'

These incredibly pretty, delicate and, most importantly, wearable jewelry pieces are the divine creations of Italian designer Gian Luca Bartellone. The designs speak for themselves in terms of their style and organic beauty, but their most incredible aspect, which is not apparent, is that they are made from papier-mâché. They are then gilded with 22 carat gold, enamels and all manner of pearls and precious stones.

Bartellone calls his line "body furniture;’ however, I don’t think I have ever seen any furniture quite as pretty as his designs.
