Israeli born designer Ron Gilad recently added an installation of flexible shelving and an oval table to his own furniture collection, TT. Originally, the TT series was a collection of coffee tables with thin metal frames and movable wooden shelves. Gilad says his table designs are "a hybrid between the idea of a tray and that of a coffee table."
His collection predominantly features shelves that give the impression that they hover with no support within a metal frame. The designs of the TT shelving system are incredibly convenient and revolutionary. The TT3 Bookshelves showcase an impressive system where it consists of tall, singular columns and wooden shelves that can be combined in any manner and in as many ways as you’d prefer. There are magnets installed around the steel frames that allow the flexibility and the luxury of moving the shelves around.
