Boisterous Big Bass Speakers

The Giant Speaker Was Created at the University of Wisconsin

If the bigger the speaker is, the better, then a team of engineering students at the University of Wisconsin have created one of the best speakers in the world with their project, aptly called the Giant Speaker. This massive sub-woofer was created with a cone that is 6 feet in diameter for just $600. The limited budget did affect the quality of the materials that were used for the speaker, but I think we can agree that the speaker is more about novelty than sound quality.

When the team tested out the Giant Speaker, they found out that the resonant frequency of the building was 7Hz. Others in the building were aware of the discovery as well, and responded with both high-fives and complaints.

The Giant Speaker is not for sale, so the question is, when are they having a party and, more importantly, can I come?
