Artist Jaume Plensa has outdone himself with the 'Wonderland' giant head sculpture situated at the base of The Bow, Calgary's tallest tower.
The sculpture is modelled after a young girls head and was intended primarily as an interactive piece to allow visitors to walk through and around it. "My vision for Wonderland is to inspire everyone who experiences the sculpture: I believe the architecture of our bodies is the palace for our dreams," said the artist. It is made from a wire mesh and stands at a staggering 39 feet, which for many photographers is an ideal subject to be used in their pictures. For photographer Mike Morrison, he found the giant head sculpture a very impressive sight, which provided a different viewpoint every step he took.
