The German Army Trainers is Oliver Cabells' Latest Inspiration

Minneapolis-based sneaker start-up Oliver Cabell has been exceptionally popular since its launch back in 2016 and the company is aiming to stay relevant with the release of its luxe German Army Trainer model. The military-inspired piece will be, without a doubt, a noteworthy addition to the footwear locker, especially when the current fashion scene is booming with utility-focused and functional garments.

The German Army Trainers were first conceived by Adi and Rudolf Dassler — the individuals who founded adidas and PUMA, in the 70s. In 2018, Oliver Cabell is reimagining this silhouette by updating its exterior and lining with full-grain Tuscan leather and vegetable-tanned calfskin to suit the luxury footwear market. The shoe will still retain some of its durable qualities. Each pair is carefully hand-stitched and manufactured in Albacete, Spain.
