Genesis, the luxury subsidiary of Korean automaker Hyundai, released a new app called Genesis Intelligent Assistant. The app, which is available on Android or iOS for both smartphones and smartwatches, lets Genesis owners remotely control various aspects of their vehicles, giving the luxury sedans a technological leg up over the competition.
With either a smartwatch or a smartphone, Genesis Intelligent Assistant lets users activate climate control, lock or unlock doors, blow the horn, flash the high beams, or turn the engine off. It can also place a beacon on one's car to help them find it (removing the need to write down one's parking spot.)
On the smartphone version of the app, users can also access important information like the driver's manual, an FAQ page and how-to videos.
