Photographer Gaz Mather travelled to an abandoned hotel deep in the United Kingdom in order to document the stunning works of art that graced its walls. Turned into an impromptu and alternative art gallery, the lonesome and derelict space invited street artists to enhance it with their own signature styles. Unfortunately city officials didn't agree with their vision and erased their artworks before sealing up the entrance, but not before Gaz Mather immortalized them on his camera.
Enamored with the idea of urban exploration and as a byproduct graffiti, Gaz Mather was naturally drawn to the site for his own portfolio. From graphic novel-like art to more abstract images, the walls of the hotel were home to some stunning art pieces.
