The folks over at Razer have unveiled a new gaming tablet/laptop hybrid, and if they have things their way, it'll be the last be-all end-all gadget you'll buy for years.
The Razer Edge combines everything a gamer on the go could ever need. Aside from impressive processing power to run cutting edge titles like Dishonored and Civilization V, the Edge aspires to be the only device you carry around. The device comes with a frame that turns the tablet into a controller, complete with analog sticks and buttons. The tablet is also Steam-compatible and supports big picture mode for output to a television if you need more screen real estate than the 10 inch screen provides. But, if you need to put the games away and get to work, the tablet portion also slides into a keyboard cradle to turn the Edge into a fully touch enabled laptop too.
Since the device runs Windows 8, whether users want to so some light web surfing or in depth photoshopping, the Edge can really do it all.
