Modder and fan Christopher Graves creates his own version of the Game Boy Camera with the new Game Boy Mini Camera designs. It is a small device that measures similar to the size of a Game Boy cartridge with no protrusion additional to the device.
Graves used a custom board and highlight the functions of the original camera's sensors, followed by some capacitors and a memory map controller as well. Additionally, he highlights a lens that is drawn from an iPhone XR that is connected to a custom sleeve to ensure that any protrusions are kept minimal. The lens changes the angles and also allows for new types of shots without compromising the quality at all.
