Gabriel by Opel Informs Parents When Heat Rises in Car with Infants Inside

It is sad to think of the number of deaths involving heatstroke infants who were left in cars; but that number can be reduced drastically if parents invest in Gabriel by Opel, a car manufacturer based in Germany. A car gadget designed by Kenny de Vlieger, a regular driver who submitted his concept to the Opel Smart Options project, it resembles a keychain that connects to a wireless pressure- and temperature-sensitive pad also placed inside the car.

If the temperature in the car rises above 28 degrees Celsius, Gabriel by Opel sends an alert to the driver to come back to the car immediately. Although it hasn't reached mass production yet, Gabriel by Opel is a necessary device for parents.
