Love Hultén Joins Way Out West on the Future Fan Stage

Swedish designer Love Hultén works together with the Way Out Fest music festival to create the Future Fan Stage for an audience of sperm and eggs who are waiting for IVF. The stage blends various components of lab equipment along with live music staging. The ambiance is further elevated with sound-reactive lights and the crowd is made up of racks of test tubes.

The stage is part of the festival which is done to bring attention to the importance of growth in the live music scene. This creative concept was dreamed up by the agency NORD DDB. Way Out West project manager Kimmie Winroth explains, "We thought it would be cheeky to do something based on this. If music can be so powerful at that stage, it surely underscores its importance and the need to keep the music scene alive."
