Luxury fashion house Maison Margiela introduces a new tonal iteration of the Fusion Low sneaker model – the latest colorway update is entitled ‘Steel Gray.’ It follows a metallic color palette and adorns the heels, the lace cage, and the toebox with hits of silver. There are also more muted hues of silver found on the uppers as a slight contrasting textile to reference a faded look.
The luxury sneaker boasts a deconstructed design aesthetic as well, translated through elements including the distressed accents, exposed rubber and glue, as well as the custom asymmetric panels. The fashion house’s ‘Numbers’ logo emblem can also be found on the bottom of the outsole as an additional branding reference hidden behind a thick later of a clear rubber material.
